Smoking is a bad habit. There are many reasons for this.

First, smoking is bad for your health. Every year, many people die from smoking. Smoking causes lung problems for the smokers themselves, as well as for people around them. Once you start, it’s hard to get rid of smoking because cigarettes have something inside them that makes people keep smoking.

Second, smoking costs lots of money. If you get into the habit of smoking, you may buy cigarettes very often and that will be a waste of money.

Also, smoking makes fingers and teeth look ugly. 

As you can see, smoking does no good for us. The best way to deal with the problem of smoking is never to start.

Most of us like to watch TV. By watching TV, we can learn what happened in China and other parts of the world. When we feel bored, TV can also help us kill the time. And some programmes such as Animals’ World can help us learn a lot.

 However, watching TV too much is bad for our eyes. If we spend too much time sitting in front of the TV set, we will have little time to exercise. It’s bad for our health. What’s more, some programmes like love stories and action films are not suitable for teenagers. They will have a bad effect on us.

 I think we can watch TV at the weekend so that we can relax after one-week hard work. But we should choose suitable programmes to watch. And we shouldn’t spend too much time in watching TV.
