PEP Book1 Unit5 Nelson Mandala 小学三年级英语说课稿
The content of my lesson is《 PEP Primary English 》Book1 Unit5 Nelson Mandala----a modern hero Elias’story. First, let me talk about the teaching material.
Part 1 Teaching Material(教材分析):
1. Introduction(内容简介)The topic of Unit 5 is about great people. The passage talks about Nelson Mandala through the eyes of a poor black worker----Elias. By study of this unit, the Ss know how to describe the famous and great people with their own words and master the attributive clause with prep. and the relative adverbs.
2. Status(地位作用):
Therefore, on studying the teaching material and analyzing the regulation of children’s growing of mind, I put forward the teaching objectives according to English syllabus and new lesson standard.
3. Teaching objective(教学目标)
(1).Perception objective(知识目标):
a) important words and phrases.(重点单词、短语)
period, advise….on ,fee, fare, gold/ golden, be worried about ,out of work , vote, stage ,position, violence, blow up , put in prison, equal, educated, come to power, terror ,
b) important expression.(重点句型)
①Expressing the ideas
Why do you think so? What’s your opinion? What do you think of......?
②Making comments
Good idea! That’s an excellent idea.
(2).Ability objective(能力目标)
a) Help the Ss to comprehend the text through different ways of reading skills.
b) Use the attributive clause with prep. or the relative adverbs: where, when, why.
c).Learn to write a passage about a great person.
(3).Emotion objective(情感目标)
a) Understand the real meaning of the hero/heroine.
b) Learn from the great people and help the Ss to choose their own role models.
(4).Culture learning(文化意识)
Learn the history of the South Africa and find out the great of Nelson Mandela.
(5).learning strategy(学习策略)
a) Understand the qualities of the great people
b) Learn to corporate with each other
c) Help the Ss to find information on line.
4.Key points and difficult points(重难点)

Well, how to achieve the teaching objectives better, to stress the key points and break through the difficult points?
Here I will use the following teaching methods.
Part 2 Teaching Methods(教学方法):
According to the modern perception theories and social intercourse teaching theories, I adopt the TSA method and TBLT method in my teaching.
1. TSA----Total Situational Action(情景教学法)
This is a “scene — activity” teaching method. It establishes a real scene and the interaction between the teacher and the Ss. It emphasizes a dynamic information exchange between the teacher and Ss.
2. TBLT----Task-based Language(任务型教学法)
It offers the Ss an opportunity to complete the tasks in which Ss use language to achieve a specific outcome. The activity reflects real life and learners focus on meaning, they are free to use any language they want.
3. Integrating method(整体教学)
I’ll use this method to help the student master the integrating skill on reading
4.group work(分组教学)
I’ll divide the Ss into several groups. Through this way I’ll help the Ss work together and corporate with each other and compete with the other groups.
At the same time, make use of the modern electricity teaching equipments, such as: a computer, a slide projector and some slides.
Part 3 Studying Methods (学法指导)
Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. After feeling and comprehending the language points, let Ss obtain the knowledge actively by probe study(探究学习)and cooperative study(合作学习). Thereby, develop the Ss’ abilities of studying and working with the learning language independently.
Part 4 Teaching Process (教学过程)
In order to realize the teaching process systematically, properly and efficiently, under the principle of “regard Ss as the corpus, the teacher inspires for predominance”, I divide the teaching process into five steps.
