  1. 1、Knowledge Objects

(1). To study the new words :  costume , silk , plastic , cotton , wool , T-shirt ,  scarf , jeans , shorts , raincoat , handbag , sportswear .

(2). Let the Ss continue to learn how to express exclamatory sentences.

(3). Learn different types of clothes and the structure “ be made of ”.

2. Ability Objects

(1). To develop the Ss’ abilities of            listening,speaking,reading,and writing.

(2). To train the Ss’ ability of working in pairs \groups.

(3). To develop the Ss’ abilities of communication by learning the useful structures

(1). To foster the Ss’ consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.

(2). To enable the Ss to love life.

The students have different levels of learning English. So I’ll tell them to pay attention to the knowledge first. I’ll give them the tasks and ask them to work in pairs or in groups. They can help each other. This can encourage most students to join in our activities. And they will learn more easily .At the same  time, they also will be happy when they learn.

Part Four

Teaching Procedures and Purpose of   My   Designing

Step 1.   Review(7 minutes)

Play chain games by using some pictures. I’ll ask them to make a short dialogue like this one by one without repetition.

Teacher:What’s this?

S1:It’s a coat.

Teacher: Oh! What a nice coat!

S1:What’s this?

S2: It’s a hat.

S1:Wow! What a beautiful hat! 

S2: …..

Purpose of my designing: Provide situations to review the name of clothes and exclamatory sentences.

The dialogue between the teacher and the Ss

T: Hi! Xiaolin .You look so smart today.               What a nice coat!

S: Thank you!

T: What’s it made of?   

 S: It’s made of cotton. ect

(If the student can’t answer the question, the teacher can help him\her do it)

  1. Step 2 Presentation(10 minutes)

This course is very important .I’ll use the pictures and some real objects to present the dialogue. Arrange some situations to help the Ss understand the structure “be made of “.Then I’ll teach them to read the new words. Make sure they can read them well.

It’s made of silk.
