能力目标：在日常生活中，能用英语It’s a .... 介绍小动物。

情感目标：通过这节课的学习，培养学生热爱小动物，保护大自然的情感。

教学重点：听、说、读单词dog，cat，chicken，duck，bird，rabbit。

教学难点：在日常生活中的实际运用。

教具准备：word cards，toys

教学过程：

Step 1 warm up

1. Greetings

T: Hello! Boys and girls.   Ss: Hello! Miss Chen.

T: Good morning! Boys and girls.    Ss: Good morning! Miss Chen.

2. Preview---Unit1and Unit 2   T shows cards,  Ss chant.

Step2 Presentation

T says: Lily, Bill, Andy, Joy, Angel and I .Both have a pet . Let Ss listen to the English words carefully.

1. Let’s learn

a. Lily’s pet is Lucky, Oh,Lucky is a dog . T reads and acts it d-o-g 

Dog dog  Wang Wang Wang,  Ss listen and repeat.

b. Miss Chen’s pet is cat .  T reads and acts it c-a-t 

Cat cat  Miew Miew Miew  Ss listen and repeat.

c. Bill’s pet is chicken. T reads and acts it c-h-i-c-k-e-n

Chicken chicken  Ji Ji Ji  Ss listen and repeat.

This time let’s play a game ---Drive train

T reads and Ss one or two groups read it one by one Ss listen and repeat.

d. Andy’s pet is duck   T reads and acts it d-u-c-k

Duck duck  Ga Ga Ga    Ss listen and repeat.

e. Joy’s pet is rabbit  T reads and acts it r-a-b-b-i-t

Rabbit  rabbit  Beng beng tiao   Ss listen and repeat.

f. Angel’s pet is bird   T reads and acts it b-i-r-d

Bird bird  Tian shang fei   Ss listen and repeat.

T reads it, Ss follow T.  Then T choose who can read the word

2. T shows the cards ,ask and answer

 What’s this ? It’s a dog/cat/chicken/duck/bird/rabbit.

 S—S practice in pairs, Then S—S perform.

3. Let’s play a game

T shows the toys and through it ,

If who can catch it ,other Ss ask the question : What’s this ?

The catcher answer: It’s a dog/cat/chicken/duck/bird/rabbit.

Step 3 Consolidation

1.  Sum up

    Lily’s pet is a dog   Miss Chen’s pet is cat .

    Bill’s pet is chicken.  Andy’s pet is duck

    Joy’s pet is rabbit  Angel’s pet is bird

2.  Review the chant

Dog  dog   Wang Wang Wang       

Cat  cat   Miew Miew Miew

Chicken chicken   Ji Ji Ji        

Duck duck  Ga Ga Ga

Rabbit  rabbit  Beng beng tiao  

Bird  bird  Tian shang fei    

3.  T shows the word cards : tiger  monkey  panda  elephant

Ss read it follow T and try to make a new chant

Homework: Say the 6 animals’s name to your parents.

一、说教材

1.教学内容

本节课是新起点英语一年级上册第一课时包括6个单词dog，cat，chicken，duck，bird，rabbit和句型What’s this ? It’s a ……。的学习。

2.教学目标

知识目标：能够听、说、读单词dog，cat，chicken，duck，bird，rabbit并能用动作来表示这些小动物；能进行简单的句型问答What’s this ? It’s a ……。

能力目标：在日常生活中，能用英语It’s a .... 介绍小动物。

情感目标：通过这节课的学习，培养学生热爱小动物，保护大自然的情感。

教学重点：听、说、读单词dog，cat，chicken，duck，bird，rabbit。

教学难点：在日常生活中的实际运用。

二、说教学方法

根据本套教材的特点，一年级学生的年龄特点及本课教学的需要，我采用直观教学法、主观演示法、个人小组练习法、全身反应法等教学方法。坚持创设学习英语的环境氛围，激发学生的学习兴趣，调动学生的学习积极性，安排本课时的教学。

三、说学法

在本课教授中我坚持以课标为指导，以活动的方式游戏为辅助，坚持“词不离句”的教学原则，使学生运用观察法，模仿法、练习法、游戏法对本课的新知识进行学习。

四、说教学过程

1. 热身 以出现单词卡片孩子们说歌谣的形式来复习前几节课的知识。

2. 导入 以五个主线人物和我的宠物来贯穿单词和句型的学习，让孩子们注意听和看出现的单词卡片，记住谁的宠物是什么动物。

3. 新授部分 本课共6个单词，我主要让孩子们三三两两练习读，增强孩子们的学习自信心，其中穿插句型What’s this ? It’s a ……, 老师通过动作让孩子试着说一说。在巩固练习时，采用两个游戏来检验孩子们对单词和句型的掌握情况, 一个是看图片说句子，如果我说的动物和图片上的动物一样，那么就和我一起说，反之则作相应的反应Ah oh.;另一个是我扔玩具扔到谁的面前，大家一起问他问题What’s this ? 他来试着回答 It’s a ……。
