What is the SPCA? (即使第一个回答的学生答对了,也要多抽几个学生回答或全班一起复述起到巩固的作用)
Who’s the man in the conversation?
Why did the man take animals to the SPCA? (这个问题看似较难回答,实际上在pre-task 部分已经呈现过, 因此学生可以回答)
Which puppy does the girl like best?
Which one does the first boy like best?
Which one does the second boy like best?
其实最后三个问题, 不光是在回答问题, 其实也是在操练这个结构。.
3. 操练句型Which one do you like best? I prefer… 本来我设想是用一些水果. 玩具等让学生们去选择, 后来我们在可磨课的过程中, 有老师提出来既然这课的主题是animal friends, 为什么不就用动物来做操练呢, 这真是个不错的建议, 于是我设想可以从动物的颜色, 大小, 高矮等方面来让学生选。这个环节可以设计成两人或三人的生生互动,因为有图片的支持,学生应该会比较感兴趣,愿意动起来。
Pre-task activities
1. Role play to act out the conversation. (Group work, competition)
A) Get the students form a group of four. Each one play a role. And give them some time to prepare.
B) acting out (competition)
这个act out 本来没设计进去,后来发现这其实是这一页上Listen and act的主要内容之一是去不得的,而且这个对话不长,设计成竞赛的形式,学生参与课堂活动的积极性会比较高。 2. Suppose you are going to visit the SPCA . What do you want to know? Think of some questions and make a list. Then the group leader presents your list. (group work)
这个活动的设计其实是属于本课的拓展,也是对下个课时的铺垫。
