What can I do for the Olympic Games 2008?

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen:

I am Nancy, a cute girl of 9 years old, from grade 3, class 5.

Today, I am very glad to be here to tell you my dreams for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

In 2008, the whole world will look at China. You can imagine how important it will be to us Chinese. We all hope it’s successful.

As a Chinese, I want to do something for the Olympic Games.

What can I do?

I want to be a volunteer or a tour guide at the Olympic events. There are many people from Abroad to Jinhua city. I believe they need my help.

I like English very much. I started to learn English when I was 4 years old. I have been studying English for 5 years. Now I can talk with people in English in an easy way.

So I decided to study English much harder in the following years and know more. In this way, I hope I will be able to use good English to talk with foreigners, and let them know China's culture, history and people during the 2008 Olympic Games.

In two years, the Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. I hope you will see me appear in the Beijing Olympic events in 2008.
