一、Teaching aims and demands:

1．能够听、说、读、写动词短语的过去式: watched TV, washed clothes, cleaned the room, played football, visited grandparents.；并初步了解一般动词过去式的变化规则及其发音规则。

2．能够听懂问句：What did you do last weekend? 并能够做出正确回答。

3.能运用新学语言内容完成Let’s find out中的任务。

二、Teaching kids and difficulties:

1．重点是掌握Let’s learn 部分动词短语的过去式以及就过去时间所做的事情进行简单回答。

2． 难点之一是动词短语过去的拼写，二是动词过去式的发音。

三、Teaching aids:

1． 准备本课时的动词短语卡片

2．准备前一个星期六或星期日的日历。

3．准备录音机和录音带。

四 Teaching steps:

     Step1  Warm up

        1.Dainly dialogues.

        2.A guessing game.（通过游戏来巩固、复习以前学过的动词短语，为新知学习埋下伏笔）

     Step2  Preview

1．师生一起吟唱五年级下册第一单元Let’s chant：What do you do on the weekend?复习与周末活动相关的动词短语。

2．Let’s start：What do you usually do on the weekend?帮助学生回忆学生学过的动词短语并引导学生回答。

     Step3 Presentation

1．T: Now I know what you do on the weekend. Guess ,what do I usually do on the weekend? Help the Ss to answer the question with actions.

T:Yes,I usually wash clothes,clean the room,play football,watch TV and visit grandparents.(Show word cards) Let Ss read after me.

       2.（出示日历）What day is it? It’s Sunday. What day was it ?It was Sunday,too. It was last Sunday.It was last weekend .Teach last weekend .

       3.Lead to new sentence: What did you do last weekend ?Teach and read it .

       4.呈现词组washed clothes,cleaned the room,played football,watched TV and visited grandparents.Pay attention to the pronunciation of “ed”.

       5.Pratice the new sentence and words :What did you do last weekend?I watched TV…

       6.Chant together:

            What did you do?                                                                What did you do last weekend?                                                               I watched, watched TV.

What did you do?                                                                  What did you do last weekend?

            I washed ,washed clothes…

    7.Play the tape of Let’s learn. Let the Ss listen and repeat after it.

      Step4  Consolidation and extension

         1.Let the Ss look at the picture and answer the question: What did Zoom do last weekend?Let the Ss fill in the forms of the small board.

         2.Do a survey:Let the Ss ask and answer in pairs “What did you do last weekend?I…”Then write the  result on their books.

         3.Ask several pairs to make a report.
