What do you do? I’m an actor.

What do you want to be? I want to be an actor.
What does he want to be? He wants to be a bank clerk..

Train students’ listening and speaking skills.
3. Moral Object
Many people envy actors. As a matter of fact, they are painstaking. They have to risk their lives sometimes. Every student have to study hard if they want to have their dreams come true.
Teaching Materials analyzing
In this unit, the teaching materials are designed to make Students learn some new words about jobs and professions, and ask the others’ ideal job in the future. For sure that it is very important for the students to improve their listening and speaking ability. It’s not only an important expression in our daily lives but also the difficulties and importance of situated learning. It is helpful to communicate with each other in the real life situation freely. So I get these consumptions:
1) Teaching key point
How to talk about jobs.
2) Teaching difficulties
Learn the names of jobs.
Train students’ listening skill.
Train students’ ability to talk about jobs using the target language.
Teaching approaches
1)Task-based Approaches
Everyone has information gap. Students should work together and help each other, and inform each other.
So in order to master the target languages in this period, In my plan I' ll give the students a task in each team, encourage them to have a challenge competition and create the real situation for the Ss to act out the dialogues.
2)Interactive Learning
Learning requires communication and interaction. It is a good way for students to learn language.
Learning strategies
1)“Experiences—Practice—Reflection—Feedback” is the best way for students to learn. I’ll show the target languages step by step. Just like Warming up---Pre-task---While-task---Post-task.
2) Pair work, The aim we learn English is to communicate with others, so in the English class, it is very important for us to practice communicating abilities. They have to work in pairs to make a conversation about their own situations.
Evaluations
As we all know that interest is the best teacher of students. So I will try my best to attract the students’ attentions by different ways. So I will try to make some games to attract their attentions. Such as guessing game. Competition, and let the student do some interviews about their ideal jobs. So the students have to concentrate themselves in order to get their scores. They will be honored to get the higher scores. Or use some words such as, very good, pretty good, you can say that again, excellent fantastic, and so on.
