本堂课为牛津英语高二第二学期Unit 2 A smile a day keeps the doctor away阅读课的第二课时。
本堂课的教学目标为通过创设不同的语境来帮助学生理解一些重要词汇及表达方式的意义。并能正确运用这些词汇及表达方式来谈论一个话题,如成功,同时引导学生积极乐观地面对失败及挫折。
本堂课的教学步骤主要分为四环节:复习,语言学习及操练,语言巩固及语言输出。
在复习环节,采用从整体到具体的方法,先让学生给出每段的段落大意,再根据段落大意来提出几个问题,一方面复习了文章内容,另一方面引出了本堂课要学习的主要词汇及表达方式。
在语言学习及操练环节,通过设置一些学生比较感兴趣的话题及真实新颖的情景来激发学生的兴趣,并让学生能真正体会到语言的语用意义。
