Aims: 1. STRUCTURE:  Where is/ Where are….?

                      It’s /They’re…(in/ on/ under…)

      2. New words:   prince,  princess,  branch

      3. FUCTION:  (1)  Asking ‘Wh-’questions to find out the place, position, or direction.

                    (2)  Using  prepositions to indicate the position.

Language Focus:  The usage of  the  prepositions.

Aids: Multi-media, rewards,reading materials and so on.

Old MacDonald had a farm.

课前唱英语歌曲，吸引学生注意力，创设英语课的氛围，为所授内容作相应铺陈。

1. New teaching :

（1）New word:

prince，princess

用已学句型“Where’s…?”来引入新授内容: A visit to the castle. 以Where单数句型为媒介，城堡为主线拓展教授新单词：prince, princess.

以学生喜爱的活动穿插于教学活动中，满足了学生的身心特点；以巧妙的活动场景的设计和活泼生动多媒体画面，将学生自然引入教学环节。接着教师运用已学句型，以城堡为主线拓展新词教学，自然有效。

以公主的礼物为引导帮助学生复习句型”Where’s the ….?” 创设各种语言情景。

情景的创设，让学生觉得自己有话可说，不断激发他们表达的欲望。重点培养学生的语感和用英语进行简单口语交际的能力。

以课外儿歌为password引导学生进入下一个环节：情感教育和新授句型,并以此激发学生的学习兴趣。

把英语学习和情感教育结合起来，教育学生爱护树木，保护环境。

(引导学生回归书本进行句型问答练习，并要求加入有关颜色的修饰语。)

通过学生合作问答的操练和相关形容词的运用使学生巩固所学的句型结构。

整合学过的句型引导学生做对话，学以致用，帮助学生用已学的内容来进行对话交流，以此达到巩固新知的效果。

通过课外阅读训练来提高学生的短文阅读能力。

To write a short composition about “ A visit to the castle”.

以课程内容A visit to the castle为主线让学生练习写作。
