My lesson is Module 5 Unit 1 in book 6 of New Standard English ——It's big and light.

First ,let’s look at Analysis of teaching material (click)

?          This lesson is Module 5 Unit 1 in book 6 of New Standard English ,the main mission of this lesson is talking about something with adjectives.Make them learn new words: light,broken, pocket, heavy and functions are: This black bag is nice.It’s heavy.The blue one is big and light.It’ll be easy for her.)

?          They have learnt English for two years, and they have known some English, this lesson is not too difficult for them, but their harvest is different, A few pupils lost their hearts in learning it,so it’s very important to stir up their interest and foster their confidence,make them progress together. 

?          Before this lesson, the pupils have known some adjectives,( For example:big small short long,and so on.)and they also can talk about something with them.

According to the analysis of teaching material and the analysis of pupils,so I think the teaching aims are(click)

Knowledge aims:

☆New words:Let the students grasp the new words:light, broken, pocket and heavy.

☆Functions:Let them can use the functions:This black bag is nice.It’s heavy.The blue one is big and light.It’ll be easy for her.

☆ Grammer: The using of adjectives.

★Ability aims:

Use the adjectives to describe something freely.

★Imotion aims:

           Stir up the students' interest,encourage         

           them cooperate.

1、The teaching important point :Learn the new words,functions and grammer.

2、The difficult point is use the functions to discribe something freely. I resolve it by designing situation and making pupils cooperate.

3、Teaching materials

Tape-recorder,computer,some pictures and objects.

4、Teaching method: Free talk and TPR.

According to these, and I design the teaching procedure like this(Click)

 Warming up

First,I let the pupils talk about these pictures,(show them) I show the panda , maybe they say :It's fat.The elephant, maybe they say:It's big,and so on.Then,I take out this balloon, let them talk about it. Maybe they say:It's big.Now,I show the title——It’s big and light.(Write it on the blackboard .)

 In this part , pupils get ready for learning new knowledge by talking about these pictures. And they will be very excited when they see the big beautiful balloon,so they will be very happy and start new lesson.

In order to making pupils be interested in this class,I design such an artful situation :We have got a big balloon,now let's make another one.So I take out an inflator and make the balloon bigger and bigger….Peng!Broken!Teach the word “broken”.At the same time I put the broken balloon in my pocket without pupils’ attention .Then I ask them:"Where is my broken balloon? " Maybe they will point to my pocket and say"There!”Now I point to my pocket and teach it.In order to showing the word "heavy",I put my English book on a heavy object, such as this table.Then I ask them "Where is my English book?" Make them pay attention to the table and let a student come to the front and carry it. He can't do it,so I show the word "heavy" and teach it.

In this part,I try my best to design a very artful and real scene to make them learn the new words easily.
