教学过程:
T:Now Mr Mott is at home with his wife and the robot. He is packing things for his trip. Watch the video tape and try to find out the answer to the question.
Q: Where is Mr Mott going to visit? What did he pack?
(Watch the video tape and then check the answers with the whole class.)
T: Now listen to the tape and repeat.
(Let the Ss repeat each sentence after they hear it.)
T: Is Beijing a very dry city?
Ss: Yes.
T: Is Yiwu a very dry city these years?
Ss: Yes.
T: So what should we do?
S1: We should save water.
T: Good boy!
( Then get the Ss to read the dialogue in groups of three. After that, call out two groups to act in front of the class.)
(Part 2)教学思路:
1.以图片形式呈现 Mr Mott has a bad memory. So he keeps a diary every day.
2.听Part 2. 录音,填表格,使学生了解Part 2. 内容, 也在具体的语言环境中理解了动词过去式的构成和含义,同时还训练了听力。
3.跟读对话。
4.学生自由操练。
5.列出对话中出现的v.原形和过去式。跟读并快速记忆,然后让学生俩人小组比赛谁先说出v.的过去式。通过这一步,让学生初步了解动词过去式的构成。
教学过程:
(Show a picture. Mr Mott is writing a diary.)
T: We know Mr Mott has a bad memory. So he keeps a diary every day. What did he do today, do you know? Now let's listen to the tape and fill in the form.
(Play the tape for the Ss to listen, two times if necessary.)
T: Finished?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Now let's check the answers.
(Ask the Ss to show their answers one by one.)
T: Now let's listen to the tape again and repeat .
(Play the tape for the Ss to listen and repeat. Then get the Ss to read the dialogue in groups. After that, call out two groups to act in front of the class.)

T: Read after me, please. (Repeat with different intonation.)
T: I think all of you have a very good memory. Please remember the words quickly, then we'll have a match.
(Get the Ss to read the words for 1 minute. Then ask two Ss from different groups to have a match. Show the verbs in present forms. Get the Ss to tell us the past forms. And the student who is quicker can get one star for their group.)
Step 4.练习阶段:
教学思路:
由浅入深、由易到难、循序渐进地安排练习。
1.看图: Ask and answer.
练习一般过去时在特定情景中的运用。
2.进行调查。
设置:“ What did you do last Sunday?”、“Where did you go ?”等问题。让学生把所学过的一般过去时态的特殊疑问句及其回答运用到实际生活情景中。
3.Topic: Talk about your last trip.
联系实际进行扩散性思维练习,训练写作能力。
教学过程:
1.(Show some pictures on the screen.)
T: Look at the pictures. Please ask and answer in pairs.
For example: What did Kate do yesterday? She did her homework.
(Let the Ss work in pairs. Then check the answers quickly with the whole class.)
2. (Show some questions on the screen.)
T: Now please make a survey among your partners with these questions.
Questions: What did you do last Sunday? Where did you go? How did you go there? Who did you go with? How did you feel? ……
(Get the Ss to ask and answer in pairs for 3 minutes. Then call out one or two groups to demonstrate in front of the class. )
3. T: Boys and girls, maybe you're a little tired now. Let's listen to the beautiful music and talk about something exciting.
(Play the music and show the topic on the screen.)
Topic: Talk about your last trip.
(Give the Ss some key words. WHEN, WHERE, WHO, HOW, WHAT …… Get the Ss to work in groups and write down their results. Then ask two or three Ss to give speeches.)
Step 5.Summary (总结):
教学思路:
最后,给得到最多星的组颁奖。奖品是机器人 (robot),同时趁热打铁,进行德育渗透,教育学生要有竞争意识和团结协作的精神,同时激励学生要学科学,爱科学,争取今后发明出更先进的机器人。
教学过程:
T: OK. Everybody has done very well today. I'm very pleased. Today's homework, write a diary about yourself.
(Show the homework on the screen and play the music.)
T: Which group has got the most stars?
(Get each group to tell the number of stars they've got. And choose the best group.)
T: Your teamwork is really good. Here are some toy robots for you. Is Mr Mott's memory robot useful?
Ss: Yes.
T: Well, I think if you use your heads and study harder from now on, I'm sure you can make many more useful robots in the future. I'm waiting for that day. So much for today. Goodbye, boys and girls.
Ss: Goodbye!
四、教学反思:
1.本节课强调了课堂教学中师生、生生的多边互动,通过互动进行人际交往,信息交流,以此很好地完成了教学任务。
2.以小组竞争的形式贯穿整个教学活动,这是本堂课教学设计的亮点。在比赛过程中,学生反应积极、讨论热烈、思维活跃、竞争激烈,小组合作成功,教学效果显著。
3.在Step4 中三个练习的设置,由浅入深,由易到难,引领学生层层深入,不断启发学生的思维,同时也很好地检验了学生在本堂课中所学的知识。
4.活动完成后,教师及时地对学生的个体学习及合作学习情况时进行总结和评价。评价过程中,教师充分肯定了学生好的一面,鼓励他们相互学习,自我提高,并及时进行了德育渗透,使学生树立起要逐渐自我完善的信念。
