Smoking is a big problem. Even though cigarettes harm our bodies and waste a
lot of money, smokers still enjoy smoking.

Smoking is bad for your health. First of all, if people smoke too much, they will
 get lung cancer. Second, smoking pollutes the environment. A bad environment can
 influence our daily lives. So we should say no to smoking.

I hate smoking. But my father is a heavy smoker. He used to smoke five cigarettes
 a day, and he even made himself sick. Now, with the help of my mother, he has given
up smoking. Fortunately, he is now healthier than before.

All in all, I want to tell every smoker, we should say no to smoking. If we do, the
 world will be more beautiful!

Today we’re going to talk about health. In my opinion, there is nothing more
important than good health. First of all, good health provides us with more chances
to succeed. If we are not fit, we can’t concentrate on our studies or work. As a result,
we can’t achieve our dreams to become successful. Also, if we want to live a happy life,
health is something necessary to keep us and our families happy. Besides, we need health to
reduce the risk of getting sick.

But how can we keep healthy? I have some suggestions. We should exercise for

My favorite festival

China, with its long history, has a lot of festivals. Among all these festivals, I like Spring
Festival best.

Spring Festival is celebrated in January or February. The exact date is determined by
the Chinese lunar calendar.

People usually wear new clothes and visit their relatives during Spring Festival. It’s a
good time for children because they can get gift money from their elders. Family members
always get together on the last day of the year on the lunar calendar. They have a big dinner
 and don’t go to sleep until midnight.
Each year, CCTV holds a big party called the Spring Festival Gala on TV. It is the most
popular program that day.

I enjoy seeing a red world during the festival. Red is a symbol for happiness and
