Objectives

Most of the students will be able to tell the classmates something about their bands that they want to form.

Some of the students will be able to tell their classmates clearly not only about their band but also the reason why they want to do so.

Steps

Step 1

1.      To do brain storming --- to talk about the bands that students have already known.

2.      To enjoy famous bands and their songs.

To arouse the students’ interest;

To motivate the students to form bands of their own. 

Step 2

Presentation and Practice (25 mins )

1.      To give students some advice on how to form a band in a proper way when they do their discussion on that.

2.      To give students some advice on how to start the talk-show ( This is the introduction).

3.      To guide the students on how to share their work in the band -- what instrument they will play, what parts the students will take in the band and the reasons for those. (This is the body of the talk-show).

4.      To guide students on how to make a conclusion of their talk-show. ( This is the conclusion )

5.      To do practice --- students group work

To train students to talk about their band in a logical way.

Step 3

1.      Students present their talk-show on forming their bands of their own.

2.      To command and evaluate the shows.

 To show their achievement – the result of the discussion.
