(2).了解食物分类及健康饮食。
(3).听懂本课中的听力材料。

(1).理解课文大意。

(2).通过食物分类,能描述水果蔬菜、谷类、蛋白质类及钙类食品对人的不同作用。

(1).理解文章大意。(食物分类分哪几类,?对人又有什么不同的作用?)

(2).重点词汇及短语。
(3).food, foods, fruit, fruits, drink, drinks的区别及使用。

Ⅳ.Teaching steps.
Step1.Warming-up.

直观感知,谈话导入。
结合食物图片,多媒体展示谷类、水果、钙类、蛋白质类的画面,在优美的乐曲中进行师生问答。

导入新课
T: What are these?

Ss: They are bread、fruit、fish、cheese…
T: How many food groups are there?

Ss: There are four.
T: What are they?

Ss: They are grain、fruit and vegetables、protein and calcium foods.
师生在自由问答中引出本文重点内容。

Step2.Presentation.

多媒体出示图片,通过问"what’s this?"引出:patato、salad、lettuce、tomato、nut、soy milk等生词。
For example:

T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s cereal(麦片).It’s grain foods(谷类食品).It gives you vitamin(维生素)、minerals(矿物质) and fibre(纤维).

Step3. Listening

放录音,让学生边看课文边听录音。
Step4. Practice
将学生分成小组,让每组讨论下面的问题并写下答案。

For example:①.What is calcium?
②.Why is calcium important for the body?

③.What are some foods that have calcium in them?
Step5 lisening and reading

1. 多媒体出示一段短文填空题,学生听录音并做题。
