Teaching aims:

After learning this part, the students will be expected to improve their ability to find useful information quickly from a passage. Step 1 Lead-in (PPT5-8)

1. Who made the final decision for you to study at our school? Did you make your own decision or did your parents make the decision for you?

2. If you have problems with your parents, who will you turn to for advice?

3. What does an advice columnist do?

1) Get a clear idea about the trouble

2) Analyze the trouble

3) Give proper suggestions

4) Keep in touch with the sender
