《Can you run fast?》教学设计

Master the phrases“run fast”,“jump far”.
Master the sentence pattern“Can you…?”“Yes,I can.”“No,I can’t.”
Ability: Students can express themselves using the sentence pattern.

五、Teaching process:
Step1 Warming up
1. Free talk.
2. Sing a song.
Step2 Leading in
1.I show the picture of Zhou Jielun and then ask students“Who is he?”“What’s he doing?”. Then I say“Zhou Jielun can sing.”.Ask students to follow me.
2.I show the pictures of Sun Wunkong and a girl,lead students to say“Sun Wukong can fly.”“The girl can swim.”
3.Teach the word“can”.
4.I show the picture of Liu Xiang.Teach the phrase“run fast”.
Step3 Presentation
1.I show the picture of a baby.I say“The baby can play basketball.Do you think so?”Teach students“can not=can’t”.
“The baby can’t play basketball.”
2.I show the pictures of fish.Lead students to say“This fish can swim.”“This fish can’t swim.”.
3.I show students some pictures and ask students to say“I can….”“I can’t….”.
4.I ask a student“Can you sing?”,then teach the sentence“Yes,I can.”I ask another student“Can you fly?”,then teach the sentences“No,I can’t.”,“Can you fly?”.
5.Pratise the sentence pattern.
Ask and answer one by one.
6.Ask students to look at me.I say“I can jump.”“I can jump far.”Then teach the phrase“jump far”.
7.Play a game.“Who can jump far.”
Ask students to come to the front and have a match,meanwhile
teach the sentences“Let’s see.”“I’m the winner.”.
8.Show students the title“Module4Unit1 Can you run fast?.”
Step4 Practice
1.I ask students to listen to the tape and then answer questions.
2.I ask students to listen and repeat.
3.I ask students to read the dialogue by themselves.
4.I ask students to come to front and act the dialogue.
Step5 Consolidation
I ask students to finish a form.It’s about what they can or can’t do.
Step6 Summery
Lead students to sum up.
Step7 Homework
After class,ask your friends what they can or can’t do.
