教学内容

四会内容

     词汇: fantastic  include  whale  speed  ride  clap  magic  pie  excitement

     词组: at the entrance  at high speed  through the whole ride  such as  in all 

scream with excitement

     句型: I heard you’ve gone to Thailand.

             I’ve been here in Hong Kong for two days.

             The performers all wore different costumes and waved to people while they marched across the park singing and dancing all the way.

             The children clapped and screamed with joy when they saw their favourite characters.

教学过程

Step1 复习(3m)

1.        用多媒体呈现图片,复习上节课学习过的旅游名胜的英文名称.

2.        教师说: There are many places of interest in China as well as in other parts of the world. Where would you like to go? Have you ever been to Hong Kong? Do you know any places in Hong Kong? What can you we do there?

( Purpose: This step is to enter the topic of this class and let the students to understand what they are going to learn in class. It’s also the preparation for the next step.)

Step2. 引入(3m)

1.        用多媒体展示迪斯尼乐园的图片,呈现生词 theme park

2.        用多媒体展示图片, 介绍迪斯尼乐园的四个组成部分

(Purpose: Arouse the students’ interest by showing the pictures of the park and introduce their parts. Let the students learn about the park))

Step3. 授课内容(37m)

1.        通过图片,教学生词 wave /souvenir /parade /fountain(2’)

(Purpose: This step is to create situations to teach new words.)

2.        让学生完成练习1,并检查答案.(2’)

1) This is the whale ____________ at the entrance.

   2)People screamed with excitement when the __________ began.

   3)Daisy Duck ________ to us during the parade.

   4)There are a lot of _____________. Some of them are in Chinese Style

(Purpose: This step aims to consolidate the words they have learned by doing additional exercises and build up confidence.)

3.        让学生快速浏览课文后,完成Disscus1(T&F).(5’)

1) Space Mountain is not very interesting.

   2) Kitty thinks the parade of Disney characters was the best part of the day.

   3) Tourists cannot take photos with those Disney characters.

   4) Kitty and her parents bought some souvenirs in the park.

(Purpose: This step aims to make the students know something about fast reading. Let them know how to find out the useful information as soon as possible. And it is used to improve their reading ability.)

4.        让学生听录音后,完成Disscus2 (Answer the questions).(8’)

1). Who visited Disneyland?

     Kitty and her parents

   2). How did Kitty think of Hong Kong Disneyland?

     It was fantastic.

   3). What did they see at the entrance?

     The whale fountain.

  4). Why couldn’t Kitty stop talking photos with Disney characters?

     Because they all looked nice and cute.

  5). What was the best part of the day?

     The parade of Disney characters.

  6). What did they buy as souvenirs?

     Some station, a beautiful purse and a pretty hair clip.

  7).How long did they stay in Disneyland?

     About twelve hours.

(Purpose: To let the students learn more about the contents and train their listening ability.)

5.        学生两人一组,完成Act1中的对话后,要求他们分角色朗读对话.(4’)

Kitty: Disneyland is the most famous __________ in the world. I visited the one in Hong Kong. Look at these photos.

Julia: Who’s this?

Kitty: This is Cinderella! She looks so beautiful.

Julia: What’s this?

Kitty: This is the parade of the famous Disney ___________. The  __________ wore different__________. When they were __________  across the park, people got really excited. It was the best part of the day.

Julia: That sounds great.

(Purpose: This step aims to make the students know how to communicate and co-operate with others. It helps the students improve their oral English.)

6.        让学生自读课文后,进行四人小组讨论,完成Disscus3表格中的内容,完成Kitty的活动行程.同时讲解课文中的重要单词和短语.(11’)

(Purpose: This step aims to help the students familiar with the information and train their ability of dealing with the information. It also helps them know it is important to work together. )

7.        让学生完成Act2中的对话.请一对或两对给全班表演对话.(5’)

Amy: Who did you go to Disneyland with?

Kitty: I went there with __________.

Amy: How long did you stay in the park?

Kitty: we stayed there for about ______ hours.

Amy: What do you think was the best part of that day?

Kitty: I think _________ was the best part of the day. I’ve seen _____________ at last.

Amy: Have you taken any photos with them?

Kitty: Yes. I’ve taken many photos with them. They were so _____________.

Amy: What did you buy there?

Kitty: My dad bought some stationary for my ______, and my mum bought a purse for me. I bought a _________ for Millie.

(Purpose: To let the students practice the language in pairs and train the students’ acting ability and improve their communication ability.)

Step4. 活动(5m)

学生四人小组活动.假设一个学生是香港迪斯尼乐园的导游,另外三个是外地的游客,导游向游客介绍这一乐园,游客可以就不明白的问题提问.

(Purpose: It aims to let each student have an opportunity to take part in study. They can help and learn from each other. It also helps to train the spirit of cooperation and let them have fun in using English.)

Step5. 练习(7m)

     让学生完成Exercises1 &2.然后核对答案.

一.用所给词的适当形式填空

(Purpose: This consolidates what they have learnt and gives them a sense of achievement.)

Step6. Homework

1.        记忆有关词汇, 词组和句型.

2.        熟读课文.

 

教学后记:

  这一节课能够利用多媒体呈现图片,充分调动了学生学习的兴趣.另外,也充分发挥了学生的主动性,学生自读课文, 进行讨论和对话表演. 教学步骤层次分明,使学生对课文内容得到了巩固. 

课件说明:

本课件是牛津教材8B Unit2  Travelling , Reading 部分, 课件通过复习引入迪斯尼乐园的图片以及相关的名称和生词.然后让学生快速阅读,听录音,再祥读课文,分别完成相关的练习并进行对话表演,使学生对课文内容得到巩固.课件设计是用Powerpoint 格式编辑,单击鼠标后会呈现相关的内容.幻灯片1是课题名称.幻灯片2是Step1所用；幻灯片3-6 是Step2所用；幻灯片7-12是Step3中所用；幻灯片13是Step4所用；幻灯片14-15是Step5中所用；幻灯片16是Step6中所用。
