I’ve been here in Hong Kong for two days.
The performers all wore different costumes and waved to people while they marched across the park singing and dancing all the way.
The children clapped and screamed with joy when they saw their favourite characters.

Step1 复习(3m)
1. 用多媒体呈现图片,复习上节课学习过的旅游名胜的英文名称.
2. 教师说: There are many places of interest in China as well as in other parts of the world. Where would you like to go? Have you ever been to Hong Kong? Do you know any places in Hong Kong? What can you we do there?
( Purpose: This step is to enter the topic of this class and let the students to understand what they are going to learn in class. It’s also the preparation for the next step.)
Step2. 引入(3m)
1. 用多媒体展示迪斯尼乐园的图片,呈现生词 theme park
2. 用多媒体展示图片, 介绍迪斯尼乐园的四个组成部分
(Purpose: Arouse the students’ interest by showing the pictures of the park and introduce their parts. Let the students learn about the park))
Step3. 授课内容(37m)
1. 通过图片,教学生词 wave /souvenir /parade /fountain(2’)
(Purpose: This step is to create situations to teach new words.)
2. 让学生完成练习1,并检查答案.(2’)

4)There are a lot of _____________. Some of them are in Chinese Style
(Purpose: This step aims to consolidate the words they have learned by doing additional exercises and build up confidence.)
3. 让学生快速浏览课文后,完成Disscus1(T&F).(5’)
1) Space Mountain is not very interesting.
2) Kitty thinks the parade of Disney characters was the best part of the day.
3) Tourists cannot take photos with those Disney characters.
4) Kitty and her parents bought some souvenirs in the park.
(Purpose: This step aims to make the students know something about fast reading. Let them know how to find out the useful information as soon as possible. And it is used to improve their reading ability.)
4. 让学生听录音后,完成Disscus2 (Answer the questions).(8’)

About twelve hours.

学生四人小组活动.假设一个学生是香港迪斯尼乐园的导游,另外三个是外地的游客,导游向游客介绍这一乐园,游客可以就不明白的问题提问.
(Purpose: It aims to let each student have an opportunity to take part in study. They can help and learn from each other. It also helps to train the spirit of cooperation and let them have fun in using English.)
