教学过程Procedures
Step 1 Revision
1.Good morning, class. Today we'll learn Lesson Fifteen Sample C. We'll learn how to ask the way. First I'll ask some of you to act out the dialogues in Samples A and B.
Good. Your performance is quite good. We really enjoy it.
2.Now let's watch the video film. Please ask and answer about the places on the map. You can use what you've learned in Samples A and B. For example. A: “Can you tell me the way to the cinema?” B: “It's between the bank and the cafe .” Now work in pairs.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Jack and Tom have two tickets. But they don't know the way to the cinema. Now let's watch the video film. Find out “how do they ask the way.”

T: Please tell me “how do they begin the question?”
S1: Excuse me, where's the Queen's Cinema, please? (screen上显示此句)
T: You're right.
3、Now watch it again. Then answer my questions.

T: Where's the Queen's Cinema?
S2: It's in Bank Street, next to the Queen's cafe.
T: Is it far from here?
S3: No, it isn't.
T:How can we get there?
S4:Turn right at the next corner.
T:How far is it from there?
S5:It's ten minutes' walk.

4、Now I'd like you to read the dialogue in pairs.
Step 3 Practice
1.Please look at the map. Make up dialogues with the given expressions. First work in pairs.
2.Now practice the gapped dialogue. Work in pairs. Don't look at your pa rtner's sheet. Group 1,3,5,7 are Ss A, and Group 2.4.6.8 are Ss B.

Step 4 Production
1.Now look at another map. Make up similar dialogues according to Sample C. First work in pairs, then in the whole class.
2.Look at the map. It's a map of Nantong. Here's our school-No.1 Middle School. Suppose you don't know the way to No.1 Middle
 School. Please ask the way and show the way. You can work in groups of three or four.
