一、教学内容分析:本课教学内容是根据PEP小学英语五年级上册第四单元What can you do?改编的一个小故事。通过第四单元的学习,学生已经掌握了句型:I can …和Can you…?Yes,I can/No,I can’t.因此,我在设计时增加了walk,swim,climb这三个动词及一个新句子:A medal for you. 旨在让学生能够在原有的基础上说出:I can walk/swim/climb the trees…并能够分角色表演该故事。
二、教学目标分析:
知识目标:了解森林里各种动物的本领:
jump, walk, run, swim, climb…
能力目标:能运用can you…?询问并运用Yes, I can,或No, I
can’t作答。
情感目标:培养学生乐于助人的优秀品质。
三、教学重点、难点分析:
1、教学重点:①动词walk,swim,climb的听,说,认读。
②句型Can you…?Yes,I can/No,I can’t
的正确运用。
2、教学难点:理解故事文本的涵义并表演。
四、课前准备:
1、教师准备相关词卡,挂图及奖励用的贴纸。
2、教师准备教学课件及各种动物的头饰。
3、教师准备故事文本及学生习题纸。
4、学生准备相关的动物头饰。
五、教学过程。
Step 1.Warm up(热身,复习)
1、Greetings.
2、Let’s do
Jump, jump, jump like a rabbit.
Run, run, run like a dog.
Sweep, sweep, sweep the floor.
Cook, cook, cook the meals.
Sit,sit,sit down.
Listen,listen,listen to music.
Step 2. Presentation/Practice.(呈现/操练)
1、教学新句型:Wow, so many animals!
课件呈现森林图问:What can you see in the forest?
学生回答:I can see cats/rabbits/elephants/tigers/monkeys…
由此引出新句型Wow, so many animals!的教学。
2、walk
a.教师出示elephant图,问:what can he do?教师用肢体语言引出新词walk,引导学生说出:I can walk.
b.教师问:who can walk?引导学生回答:cats/dogs/tigers…can walk.对能够完整回答问题的学生给予奖励:super! A medal for you!
3.swim
a.课件呈现fish图,问:Can fish walk?学生回答:No.教师顺势再问:What can he do?用动作引出swim的教学。
b.教师戴上fish头饰:I’m a fish. I can swim in the river.引导学生一起说:swim, swim, swim in the river.游到一名学生面前,T:Can you swim? S: Yes, I can. T: Come on, let’s swim in the river.选2—3名学生参加此活动并表扬:You’re good swimmer. A medal for you!呈现新词medal.并引导学生说出:Fish, fish, a medal for you!
4.climb
a.呈现图片:a peach tree和monkey.
问:The monkey wants to eat peaches. what can he do?引出新词:climb,引导学生说出:Monkey, monkey, climb the tree.
b. 教师戴上monkey头饰说:I’m Monkey, I can climb the tree.带领学生齐说climb, climb, climb the tree.教师作climb状并摘下桃子:oh, a big peach, I like it.请学生上台扮演monkey,操练词组climb the tree.
5.Pair work
a. T: Can you climb the trees? S: Yes, I can/No, I can’t.
T: Can you swim? S: Yes, I can/No, I can’t.
课件呈现Pair work: Can you…monkey/dog/elephant…?
Yes. I can./No, I can’t.
学生戴上头饰,进行操练。
b.学生展示pairwork.学生给予评价,教师给予适当奖励。
6.Let’s act.
课件呈现frog,师生边读边演:I am Frog. I’m short and strong, I can jump, I can swim. I can help my friends, I’m helpful.
7. story.
a.课件呈现故事内容,学生观看故事动画,完成练习纸上的习题。
b.再次播放动画,学生跟读故事。
c.学生分组分角色表演故事。
d.请2-3组学生上台表演故事,给予评价。
