  教学参考时间:3-4分钟

  教师提问,学生回答,进行口语练习。

  Where are you going on your holiday?

  What are you going to do there?

  Who are you going with?

  When are you going?

  How are you going to get there?

  3、Presentation  (新课呈现)

  活动四:Read and answer

  教学参考时间:5-6分钟

  (1)从日常口语练习最后一个问题的回答中教师自然引出“Why are you going to …by plane?”“Is it far from here?”继续提问“How far is …from…? 2 hours? 3hours?”最后引出句型It’s …hours by plane.教师板书。

  (2)教师出示中国地图,用其他城市的名称替换关键词操练句型:How far is …from…? It’s … hours by plane.在替换交通工具进行操练:How far is … from …? It’s … hours by train/bus/bike.

  活动五:Visiting

  教学参考时间:7-8分钟

  (1)教师出示一张机票,介绍说:Look! This is a ticket. Let’s go and visit the airport with Mike. He’s going to visit Kunming with his family by plane. Have you ever been to the airport? Look at the picture carefully. What can you see at the airport?

  (2)教师呈现候机大厅的图片(good to know中的图片即可),介绍主要的设施和标志,并认读机场的常见标志,了解登机的基本手续check in, safety check, board.

  (3)教师出示乘机手续的词语卡片,打乱顺序:check in(have boarding pass), safety check, board,请学生排一排顺序。

  (4)教师请学生从乘机手续的词语卡片中任意挑选一张,表演出相应动作。

  活动六:Listen and write

  教学参考时间:3分钟

  (1)播放Listen and write部分的机场广播,引导学生找到正确的登机口,学生完成填空练习。

  (2)核对答案。录音内容如下:

  May I have your attention please? Air China flight CA1471 to Kunming is now boarding through Gate 24. Please collect all of your personal belongings and have your boarding pass ready as you board the aircraft. We wish you a pleasant journey.

  活动七:Try it

  教学参考时间:5-6分钟

  (1)教师简单介绍对话背景,“Now Mike and Kathy are at Gate 24. What are they talking about?”教师提供部分单词:far, three hours, weather, Spring City, sunny, different places, buy folk clothes.学生组成小组,合作编出一段对话。

  (2)播放录音,学生跟读。

  (3)小组分角色练习对话。

  4、Let’s play  ( 趣味操练 )

  活动八:Let’s talk

  教学参考时间:5分钟

  (1)小组合作,根据课文Read and answer中的问题再补充可以提出哪些问题

  (2)小组竞赛,提出问题多的小组为胜。

  (3)有奖抢答,教师提问:Why is it usually sunny and warm in Kunming? What are they going to do in Kunming?

  5、Consolidation and extension

  活动九:Make a sentence

  教学参考时间:2分钟

  (1)教师循环播放静音状态下的登机录像,请学生为录像“配音”。

  (2)完成活动手册配套练习。

  活动十:Cut it

  教学参考时间:1-2分钟

  切面包游戏

  做成面包装卡片上的几个单词,单词之间没有间隙,学生尝试将单词分开,使其成为一个句子。

  一、教学重点:

  学生能用一般过去时连贯叙述一段事情。

  二、教学难点:

  一般过去时在生活中的应用。

  三、课前准备:

  1.教师准备录音机、录音带和VCD。

  2.教师准备一个小玩具。

  3.学生制作棋子一副。

  四、教学过程:

  1、Warm up  热身)

  活动一:Chant it 

  教学参考时间:2分钟

  教师播放歌曲“I went on a Holiday”,学生听后试着哼唱。

  活动二:Throw it

  教学参考时间:2分钟

  教师为学生提供小玩具,学生互相抛、接,接到玩具的同学必须说出一个和trip相关的单词或短语,前后不能重复。

  Do you like taking a trip/hearing good news?

  活动四:Think it over

  教学参考时间:5-6分钟

  (1)教师结合学生的实际情况介绍2件事情,让学生理解bad news和good news及形容词的比较级、一般过去时等知识。例:I have two pieces of news for you. One is good, the other one is bad. Which one do you want to listen first?

  (2)板书bad news和good news,介绍说:Bad news: Yesterday afternoon, Mike went home. On his way home, he was sad because he couldn’t do his homework. It was so difficult for him. He wasn’t carefully then he fell down. His leg hurts. He was sad. Good news: At that time, Jack saw him and carried him to his house. And he helped with his homework. He was happy.
