【教学内容分析及设计思想】
　　本节课的教学内容是广州市小学英语三年级上册Module 6  Unit16 What Shape Is This? Work with language ，是整个模块的第二课时。在U16的课文里，学生已经初步接触有关形状的单词和句型，学习过的单词包括有they、these、shape、circle、triangle、square、rectangle等关于形状的单词，以及向他人询问有关形状话题的句子“What shape is this?  It’s …”“What shapes are they ?  They’re …”。本节课主要是在复习、巩固U16课文对话的基础上，扩展学习图形单词 star、diamond、cross 等，并结合之前Module3所学的有关方位的表达以及Module4所学的有关颜色的表达，来对拼出的形状、物体进行描述，让学生在学中做，做中学。本节课旨在通过一系列活动来启发学生进行思维拓展，把生活知识融入英语学习，并结合形状、颜色、地点等旧知，以旧带新，融会贯通，培养学生综合运用语言的能力，并利用有道词典让学生自主学习单词、辅助阅读，从而初步培养学生利用网络资源进行自学的能力。
【教学目标】

1．知识与技能目标：
（1）能够听说读写本课单词shape, circle, triangle, square, rectangle，能够听说读拓展单词star, diamond, cross。
（2）能够在相应的情景下说出有关询问形状的句子或与他人编对话 ：
What shape is this? It’s… . What shapes are these ? /They’re …，What colour is…? It’s …，Where is…?   It’s on/ in/under….
2．过程与方法目标
（1）通过丰富的网络资源，以“听、说、读”为突破口，开展对话、游戏、自主听读、动手拼图、协作表演等方式，让学生在真实的语言情境中提升语言交际技能。
（2）通过认知工具——有道词典的运用，培养学生利用网络资源进行自主学习的能力。
3．情感、态度、价值观目标
在快乐自由开放的学习氛围中，学生们体验到英语学习的快乐，树立英语表达的自信。
【学习者特征分析】
1．此年龄段的学生天真活泼，有极强的模仿能力和求知欲望。好奇心强，思维定势较少，喜欢观察、发问、探索、质疑，更喜欢讲述自己的所见所闻，尤其是自己的发现。抓住这一兴奋点，可充分利用多媒体辅助教学，采用“情境教学”激发学生的学习情绪。
2．此年龄段的学生注意力持久性不长，教学利用对话、游戏、歌曲、小诗、自主听读、动手拼图、协作表演等活动形式充分调动学生的主体性，刺激学生的求知欲望。
3．学生能熟练掌握计算机的基本使用技能，乐于在网络环境下进行自主探究、听读学习。

1．跨越式听读资源：
1)  words 1, words 2, words 3
2) 四篇不同情景的听读材料（有关形状的自我阐述Reading 1-1——Reading 1-2 ,Reading 1-3, Reading 1-4 ）

【教学过程】
第一环节： 课前热身、复习旧知
1．Chant：
See the umbrella, it’s round,round,round.
See the watermelon, it’s round,round,round.
See the watch, it’s round,round,round.
See the vilion, it’s not round.
See the vilion,It’s long,long,long.
2.Free talk.
教师出示相关的ppt画面

并与某个学生进行师生示范，学生根据key words 进行两两对话。

第二环节: 情景导入，新知学习
1.Leading-in：
T: Boys and girls, shapes are in our life. This lesson we will continue to talk about shapes. U16 What Shape Is This? Work with language
2. Divide the class into four groups.
全班分成几个小组，分别以circle,、triangle、 rectangle、square 来命名，并以chant的形式说出自己组的口号。
Circle, circle, go, go ,go.
Triangle, triangle, win, win, win.
Rectangle, rectangle, ha , ha , ha.
Square, square, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Shapes, shapes, wonderful.

3. Ask and answer
老师带领学生用手指拼出形状，从而小结归纳并板书已学形状单词及句型What shape is this? It’s… . What shapes are these ? /They’re ….
4. Look and match. （课本第75页 Work with language）
1）T: Shapes are wonderful. Shapes can make a lot of pictures. Now children, look at the pictures. What shapes can you see?
2）The students do the exercise.
3）Check up.
5. Show a picture which is made of shapes.(用六种图形拼成的一幅画)

教师提出疑问：
T: Look! It is a beautiful picture 
What is this ?
P: It is a house .
It is a moon .
T: You are clever . They are made up of shapes
Do you know what they are ?

6. Learn the words on the computer by the students themselves.
学生借助自主听读资源words1、words2学习circle , rectangle, triangle ,square ,cross, star, diamond。
第三环节：  新旧结合，巩固操练
1: Let’s talk.(Pair work)
学生两人一组用自己准备好的形状卡片或实物操练新词及句子。并在ppt上出示key words。

2.Sing the song 《Shapes》

第四环节：拓展听读
1.Individual reading on the computer.
学生自主听读故事，并使用有道词典工具学习新词，辅助阅读，积累词汇。( 必听读Reading 1-1, Reading 1-2 三次或以上,选听读Reading 1-3, Reading 1-4 )
T：I have many interesting stories about shapes in our life for you. Please listen to them and get to know .

运用颜色、方位把shapes编成 chant
T: Shapes are colourful. Shapes can be everywhere.
Shapes purple , shapes red.
Shapes yellow on the bed.
Shapes here, shapes there.
On the table ,under the chair.

学生自主听读words 3(Let’s make pictures with shapes.)
T: Look, children, what’s this?

T: That’s right. It is a train .Shapes are wonderful. Let’s have fun with shapes.

The students make pictures with shapes in pairs.(学生两人一组用形状卡片拼出图形。)
T:Shapes are wonderful. Shapes can make a lot of pictures.
老师与学生示范如下：
A: Let’s make a picture of a tree.
B: OK.
A:We need(需要) two triangles and one rectangle.
B:Here’s a rectangle.
A: Thank you.
B: Here are two triangles.
A: Thank you. Look, it’s a nice tree.
5.学生用英语介绍刚才拼的图片，教师在ppt上出示相关句型。
