一、 教材分析
外研版英语七年级(下)Module10 Life history Unit1 We listened to the radio的核心话题为“Talking about the past .”以生活经历为话题,要求听懂,读懂对过去生活经历的描述及简单的人物传记,并通过对自己和他人生活经历的描述掌握一般过去时的表达方式。重在培养学生的语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。
二、 教学目标
1.知识目标:
1).To understand conversations about life in the past.
2).To understand and be able to ask questions with “did”
3). To learn months of the year.
2.能力目标:
1).能听懂谈论过去经历的简短对话,获取事情发生的准确时间.
2). 询问并回答有关过去的事情和经历.
3.情感目标:
本单元的教学内容与学生的生活息息相关,容易激发学生的兴趣,从而乐于运用简单的英语与他人进行交流。学习活动中学生通过交换对过去发生的事情的描述,从而促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进友谊。

四、教法设计
本单元的主题是谈论过去的事情和经历,教学内容贴近学生的生活,因而在课堂教学中主要利用多媒体采取情景教学和活动教学,让学生用以前学过的及本单元所学过的词汇与句型进行交流;采取直观教学法,运用图片、多媒体学习新词汇,掌握重点句型。
五、课前准备
教师准备:
1.教学课件。
2.节日图片、四季图片。
3.录音机等。
学生准备:
1.预习单词和对话。
2.写出中国的一些常见节日
六.教学过程
Step 1.Lead in (Activities 1 and 2)
1、Teacher ask students: How many months are there in a year? Which months are they?
Students answer: There are 12 months.January, February,March,April,May,June,July,August,September ,Octob-er ,November, December.
Then teacher shows pictures about months and teach students about them and students read by themselves aloud.
2、Teacher ask students:Do you know which festivals there are in China? Then teacher asks students to work in pair and say out a festival every pair.
Then teacher shows some pictures about festivals with computer. And ask students to read these festivals aloud .Then ask them to match these festivals with the months.
Teacher : Which festival is in January or February?
Which festival is in March / April /May /June/
July / August /September /October/ November/ December?
Women’s Day Teacher’s Day National Day Christmas
January , February , March, April ,May ,June
July ,August ,September ,October November, December
Labour Day Children’s Day New Year’s Day Spring Festival
Students like this : Spring Festival is in January or February.

3. Ask students to read through the list of months and have the students repeat them after the teacher .then ask them to order them individually and then check with a partner in Activity3

4. Teacher ; How many seasons are there in a year?
Students :There are four seasons. Spring . Summer . Autumn and winter.
Let students read through the list of seasons and have the students repeat them. Then let students ask and answer like this:
S1: Do you know which months there are in spring?
S2: Yes. There are February , March and April in spring
S3: ……
And then let students match the seasons with the months individually . Then check with a partner. Ask one student to say a season and three different ones to say the months.

1).Ask students to read the box .then let student to listen first , and then play the recording again for them to listen and check the correct.
2). Collect the answers from the class.

S3: Did Tonny start school in Beijing in January 2003 ?
S4 :No, he didn’t. He started school in Beijing in March 2002.
S5: Did Tonny meet LingLing and Daming in January 2003 ? ?
S6: No, he didn’t. He met LingLing and Daming in August 2003 .

2.Work in pairs
Let students ask answer about when they were five years old. Like this:

3.Listen and read
Ask students to open their books and listen in Activity 5 . Then answer ; When was grandfather born ?(In November,1935.) Then listen again and check ( √ ) the things Betty’s grandfather had/ didn’t had in Activity 6.

课堂小结
本节课主要学习12 个月份名词的表达及一般过去时的否定句和一般疑问句。本节课的导入很顺利,衔接比较自然,并让学生做了有关的练习,突出了重点。做到了听、说为一体的教学环节。但是,由于时间关系练习的不够充分。
