例如某学生生日前或在节假日,我们可以写上祝语,使学生真切地感受到老师温馨而真诚的关爱之情,使学生倍感亲切,也会回赠祝福,从而缩短了师生间的距离,融洽了师生感情。如:Happy birthday,Linda!/ Many happy returns! / Happy National Day! / Merry Christmas! /Enjoy yourself in the coming holidays!
又如某个学生因为生病缺课作业完成得很糟糕,我们就要说一些安慰的话,如:Joe,you have made a few mistakes in your work.I know that is because you were absent... Don't lose heart.I am ready to help you.
对于现今的学生,过多的要求甚至批评是难以奏效的,特别是后进生,我们只有通过情感这一载体,通过作业评语,肯定成绩,指出不足,提出希望,只要这些都是真诚的、适时的和有内容的,学生就会从中理解并感悟到老师对他们的信任和关爱,从而转化为学习的动力。
五、作业评语要有多样性。
作业评语不仅仅是对作业本身进行评价,也可以包括学习和生活的各个方面,它的语言形式更是丰富多彩的,既可以是一个词或一个短语,也可以是一句话、一个段落或一则格言。例如:
A.词: OK! /Correct! /Excellent!/Great!/Perfect!
B.短语: Well done!/Neat and tidy!
C.句型:
That's great!/Keep it up.
What a good job you have done!
Come on!I am sure you will catch up soon.
Your handwriting is excellent!
D.段落:Although you have not been successful,you have done better than ever. I am sure you will make more and more progress if you keep on practicing your spoken English.
E.格言:
Practice makes perfect.
Nothing is impossible.
A willful man will have his way.
实践证明:评语,仿如作业批改中的调味剂,改变了单一的百分制或等级制量分方法的呆板和片面。既综合评价了学生的作业,也有利于促进学生的发散性思维和形成创新意识,更有利于沟通师生之间的情感,体现人文关怀,调动学生的学习积极性,促使学生学好英语,迈向成功。
