教材分析：

本课由三部分组成：第一部分是通过一系列运动图片介绍什么是体育锻炼以及分钟和小时的概念。第二部分是通过伍德老师对Danny的调查访问让学生熟练应用How often do you____? ____times a_____.这个句型并学会使用How many minutes do you_____?这个句型进行问答。第三部分是通过一个歌谣拓展学生有关体育锻炼的常用短语。

教学目标：

A、知识目标：

1、通过本课学习，使学生掌握（读、写、说出并且听懂）下列词汇：minutes, hours, exercise. 2、能熟练的运用How often do you____? ____times a_____.和How many minutes do you_____?

3、注意到歌谣中的一些有关体育锻炼的常用短语搭配。  

B、能力目标：

通过游戏、调查、竞赛、说歌谣等活动培养学生综合语言运用的能力，引导学生通过实践、合作等学习方式，培养合作学习的意识，提高自己解决问题的能力。从而促进学生实践能力和创新思维的发展。 

C、情感态度价值观目标：

通过游戏、调查、竞赛等多种活动，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学生的积极性，使学生在不断体验成功的快乐的同时，增强英语学习的信心。

Class Opening and Review

1、Greetings

Hello, boys and girls, nice to meet you.

(通过简单的问候,稳定学生的情绪,将注意力转移到英语课堂中来.)

2、Free talk

T: Now look! Who are they？Yes, they are Fuwa. They are playing sports. Do you like sports? Here are some sports. Do you remember? What sports do you like?

(通过与学生的问答练习既复习了所学知识又为新授内容做了铺垫，使新旧知识自然衔接。)

1.T: I like sports, too. These are sports. These are also exercise. Exercise, do you know? Now look! They are exercising, too.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       (point to each part.)Riding a bike is exercise. Walking is exercise. Running is exercise. What else is exercise? ____ing is ……

T: Show the card of exercise and lead to read.

T: Boys and girls, look at these sentences . What can you find? Yes, we add “ing” to the verb phrases. You should pay attention to.

T: Now look at the screen. Let’s read together.

2.T: What else is exercise? Do you know? What is ? Hands up.

T: We need about twenty minutes of exercise three times a week.

T: Twenty minutes, do you understand? Now look at the clock. 

T: What time is it, now?    

S: It’s nine fifteen.

T: Now, it’s nine sixteen.

This is one minute.(Show the card of “minute”)  Now five minutes, twenty minutes, Now how many minutes? forty minutes, six minutes .

Sixty minutes make an hour. (Show the card of “hour”)The letter “h” is not pronunciation.

T: How many minutes do I execise? I exercise about thirty minutes a day. I walk to school every day. How many minutes do I walk to school?  About ten minutes a day? What about you? How many minutes do you exercise?

T: *** Do you ride a bike? How many minutes do you ride a bike?

T: Boys and girls! There’s the chart on your desk. Now let’s complete the chart in pairs, OK? 

（由谈话调查引出这部分的重点句型How many minutes do you______?使学生的学习有了真实的情境。同时通过小组活动加强了学生对这一重点句型的应用。）

5.T: We all know exercise is good for us, but Danny doesn't know. He doesn't like to do exercise. Before we listen to the text, let’s look at these questions. 

T: Play the audiotape then ask the students open their books and find out the answers from their books and write on their answer paper. Then ask the volunteers to answer the questions.

(通过听前问题，让学生进行有意义的听，四个问题的设置，有利于学生了解全篇大意，从整体上对课文有所感知。通过对问题的回答使学生能更加深入的理解本课所学知识点。)

6.Are you tired? Let’s have a rest. Listen to a chant. OK?
Let’s chant after the screen. Use the gestures to teach the chant. Let’s say the chant and do the actions together.

(边休息边欣赏歌谣，调节课堂紧张气氛的同时，让学生对歌谣中的动作短语有一个初步认识。)
