教学目标: 知识目标:1.复习本单元的词汇.
2.复习本单元的句型:be going to 能力目标:通过本单元的学习,使学生对西方的传统节日有所了解,并能用英语试着描述自己最喜欢的节日。
情感目标:使学生了解西方传统节日,并增加他们对西方传统节日的喜爱之情。 教学重点、难点:
重点:四会词汇和句型,以及be going to将来时的句型结构。 难点: 能利用所学知识进行情景交际练习。
教具准备:课件 教学过程
一、Greetings 二、Sing a song (课件播放:Baby Jesus ,导入今天的课)
三、Review : T: Christmas is special . Why is it special ?
S: Because ……. (课件出示图片,复习本单元的词汇)

This is _____... He is a merry man in red clothes . T: What does Jenny’s family do ? (课件出示,让学生看图谈论,并完成填空)
We _____ our family and friends ___ our house. They_____ gifts for us.
(同义句)_____________________. We _____ our family and friends gifts, too.
(同义句)_____________________. We sing _______ ________ at Christmas.
We have fun together. T: What else do they do at Christmas ? (课件出示图片)

(先让学生谈论,同时引出在圣诞节人们通常喜欢write a Christmas card ) (课件出示Jenny 的贺卡,从而复习yestoday ,today ,tomorrow 以及三种时态)
T: 让学生仔细阅读Jenny 的贺卡,并回答问题: What did Jenny do yesterday ?
What does Jenny do today ? What is Jenny going to do tomorrow ?
S: (学生独立完成习题) T: (课件出示)复习动词的三种时态:

(让学生简单描述装饰圣诞树的过程) T: My favourite holiday …..(课件出示)
让学生自己谈论:What’s your favourite holiday ? Homework: Talk about your favourite holiday then write down on your paper.
